I started this blog to document my cooking. I predict mostly this will be about baking, having spent way too many years as a vegetarian who didn’t really cook (thus never developing a great palate and being horrible at prepping veg and meats).
I live in Portland, Oregon with my boyfriend and 3 non-Internet-famous cats. We run, we cook, and we watch lots of British produced cooking shows (current faves are the ones with Michel Roux).
Posts may be few and far between as I would like to try and avoid duplicating great content that is already out there. My goal is to identify what I think works in existing recipes, and to figure out fixes and workarounds for a successful final version.
